Annyeong haseyo!
Do you love to watch Korean Drama? If yes, what kind of genre's film that you usually like to watch? Family? Tragedy? If you like to watch romance drama, here I would like to recommend you to watch It's Okay, That's Love (Gwaenchana, Sarangiya).
It's Okay, It's Love is a drama that releases in year 2014 (July 23-September 11, 2014). This drama starred by Jo In Sung as Jang Jae Yeol and Gong Hyo Jin as Ji Hae Soo. Besides two of them, Actor Lee Kwang Soo and D.O. EXO also become cast of this drama.
Unlike romantic K-Drama in general, It's Okay That's Love offer an innovative yet unique story that rarely found in romance K-Drama. It's not only tell us about love story between male main character and female character, it also shows how it feels to live with mental illness. In short, I can say this drama is a serious yet romantic drama and it's worth to watch.

Cast of It's Okay, That's Love |
The plot story of this drama is unpredictable because from the beginning of story you can see that everything is alright. Jang Jae Yeol (Jo In Sung), male main character, is totally fine. He is handsome and he known as the bestseller mystery writer. The story also give us information that Jae Yeol has friend which is Han Kang Woo (D.O. EXO) that always accompany him during the story. Ji Hae Soo, female main character, is a psychiatry doctor. Although she is a psychiatry doctor, she has a minor illness which is she can't even kiss a man because of her past story.
The relationship between both of main character is sweet and sexy and it could almost stand on its own relationship. This drama give us the progress of their relationship. Along with the story, we will know that Jae Yeol also has mental illness that caused by his childhood trauma and Han Kang Woo is the reflection of himself in past. Before the drama reach the end, mental illness will threat the relationship and lives of our main characters.

This drama is focuses consistently on characters rather than their mental illness. Even the life secondary characters like Soo Kwang (Lee Kwang Soo) also has its own scene in this drama. Illness is just a piece of puzzle in "It's Okay, That's Love". However, this piece of puzzle give an unique part in this drama. The mental illness is boxed in high fashion.
Another thing that I like from this drama is everyone in It's Okay, That's Love has something that can't be told. Even they know what's troubling them, they don't find it easy to think clearly. This drama teach us to notice our own weaknesses even it's difficult.
Reason you may consider to watch this drama:
- It has unique yet sweet love story
- It has unpredictable plot since the beginning of story
- This drama tell us about the progress of each character. All of them are developed along the story.
- Every characters in this drama has their own story and it is a complicated one
- Soundtracks of this drama is good to listen and those soundtracks not only in Korean language, but also in English language
- It has serious yet educational knowledge about illness in the story
- Plot of story is too slow
That's all from me. Below, i attach one quote from this drama. Hope you will enjoy the drama!
